A happier Healthier

ME! I am trying to focus on the positive and while I was playing with the kids my daughter got my camera and snapped a photo. Here is the happier healthier me.
Life is way to short to be negative. Right now it may seem as though I am all alone but my husband loves and protects me and he also misses me. Life is grand and we need to live it to our fullest.

Just another Manic Monday!

This Monday it is back to reality. I will be honest. Mondays really bum me out so we tend not to do as much on this day. Plus this is our first day back into the daily grind with no daddy at home for almost all day. I am so grateful that we have this coming weekend to look forward too. No play pictures but we decided to play extra hard in our bath. Hopefully mama can get motivated more this week and have a little fun with her babies.

A trip to the mountains

Looking for some cheap thrills and also to give our station wagon a test to its limits. Ro and I decided to get some Subway and ride into the mountains. In Garden of the God's there is a dirt Road through the mountains called Rampart Range Road. It has gorgeous views and gives us our little thrills. We started this trail at 11:30 am and ended it at 1 pm. The kids laughed as we hit bumps and Ro and I chatted as for most of the time we were just surrounded by our kids and the natural beauty called Colorado. We are going to try to do this more often and find more of these less travels paths. Next week we hope to see Gold Camp Road and hoping the car survives that we will look into St. Elmo's

Another Promise

Today as Ro and I ran to a lady's house to buy a video game for our Xbox 360 we decided to take a little drive the long way home. It was lightly raining and my heart jumped. I saw a double rainbow. Deciding to tease our dog a little we drove to our favorite lake. Imagine my surprise. Coming out of the middle of the lake was the end of our rainbow. Its time like these that I am reminded we are not alone and beauty is all around us. Just to be honest there was no treasure at the end of this rainbow but I found my treasure almost 11 years ago.

Another Park Another Day

As oart of my promise to my children we went to another park today. The kids ran hard and the dogs also played very hard today. She even broke out of Ro's arms and ran across a busy street to get her mama (talking about Chiquita our chihuahua here). We also did our grocery shopping and ate some delicious Chinese for dinner. I am loving being a good happy family. We are giving our kids that healthy lifestyle and getting out of our apartment just a little bit more. I think we are growing as a family and learning that we have to be closer to be happier. I am learning that it is ok to not be perfect you just have to pick up the pieces left behind when everything falls apart and keep moving on.

Playing our hearts out

I am over the middle of the week blahs. This weather is psycho and it cannot make up its mind if it is raining or sunny so we are playing a little when we get a break. Today to keep our Son awake we ran to America The Beautiful Park. We ran around the Penrose fountain and then ran to the very modern play park.

There were only two other familie's around but I wanted to respect their space and not snap pictures every two seconds.

My life is grand. It is right where it is supposed to be. I am loving my life right now.

Middle of the week

Busy week. Lots of things on my mind. In 1 month and 1 day we will finally start our move. I am so very excited to finally get this started and get the heck out of dodge. This is crazy around here.

Baby Zoe passed away yesterday. I am very sad for her family and I loved her as my own. I cannot imagine the pain that family is going through right now. She is now an angel watching us from above and the most perfect one of all.

I don't know what is going on for me. I have the middle of the week blahs. Hopefully this weekend will once again be full of excitement and I will take the kids out to play again. Just want to keep this thing updated.

A monday I am actually looking forward too

I will be busy once again this week. Ro is on Summer vacation from school and I am soaking up every happy moment with him. I never realized how much I missed my husband until we only had 30 minutes together. He is a great guy and I am very lucky to have him in my life. In the last ten years he has given me so much. He has given me the oppurtunity for one to raise my children. Plus he has given me said beautiful children. He is a good man. One who I sometimes do not appreciate as much as I should.

This week is going to be uneventful but nice. We will get a taste of what it will be like again next year after school. Surprisingly we have had less fights and have grown to appreciate each other just that little bit more. I am very happy to be who I am right now and that right now is the Wife of Ro and the mom of lil Ro and Roana.

The end of an awesome weekend

Today is Sunday. My least favorite day behind Friday of course. We wanted to test our station wagon to the max since Ro put so much effort into it. We decided to take it down to Pueblo. First we went to visit our best friends family and then we decided to go to the Riverwalk. While at the Riverwalk we found a nice fountain that other children were playing in. I of course did not take pictures while the other children were playing out of respect to them but we had a blast. We decided we are going to try to get down to that little town a little more often.

I love spending time with everyone. The sad part is when it is all over and done with. Not much words today but enjoy our pics.

Enjoying our Time together to the Max

We are trying to stay busy. So for today we went to several different parks. Our first stop was a local park here by the house. The kids were playing hard and I enjoyed watching them play. That was until a group of rowdy teenagers came and overtook the playground equipment. Feeling sorry for our dogs we decided to head off to memorial park one of our favorite spots to play with them.

While there a huge festival was going on but thanks to the threat of rain people had ran out of there screaming. Well maybe not screaming but we got the lake mostly to ourselves. The dogs played hard and I let the children wade in the water for a little bit of time.

Following our romp through memorial park we decided to check out Palmer Park. We drove up to a place called turnaround point and found some fun hiking trails. We are trying to enjoy our Colorado scenery before it gets too hot. I feel very blessed to be surrounded by all this beauty and even more blessed to have a wonderful family
