Our weekend

Saturday Daddy had to work all day. When he was not working well it rained and we had to grocery shop. We made a pact to not eat out as often as we were. The way we were eating out was like it was going out of style. Not a good example for my kids or good for us healthwise either. We are now stocking up on healthy food and even snacks so we are not tempted to grab the keys and grab conveince foods.

We finally picked up our little wagon on Friday. It is wonderful (except the back wheel is slightly cracked I am sure some epoxy will help that however). Saturday with the rain we decided to go home and relax. Ro and I curled up on the couch and watched some movies. Sunday God gave us a 4 hour break from the rain so off we went to our favorite walking trail to test the wagon and exercise the dogs.

The park was beautiful as always. The water was clear and running. The air smelled of fresh rain and the kids even cooperated for pictures. It was a wonderful day. Ro and I walked and talked and laughed and flirted and made our way to the car. He even pulled both kids back to the car for me and I swooned and told him he was strong. Not even 10 minutes after we got back in the car the skies poured out and we laughed at how close we were to getting soaked. It was a good weekend and I wish everyday could be like this.

It sounds like a fab day ... I've had those perfect days I wish could be 'every day' too.

I've been catching up on your blog-love the new hair do! I think I'm going through a 'pity me' phase or something & everything I do just seems trivial-wah :( LOL

I'm afraid of Craigslist though. A month or so ago a pubic official here in S.C. challenged Craig and wanted all the adult type ads removed. Have you ever looked at those? It took me some time to find 'em but I found some real shady looking ads for straight up naughty stuff. I keep remembering the pregnant woman who went to pick up baby clothes and the ad poster, a crazy woman, killed her.

(gives me cold chills)

I hope all is well, congrats on the new apartment, and I'll check back soon to see what's up. Nice blog look too :)
