Let me start by telling you about this wonderful family. This technically is my cousin but I love her more like a sister. Since my mother passed in 2004 my Aunt Sue has taken me as her own daughter. She has listened to me laugh and cry and she has shown me a lot of love. We were very shocked to find out my sister Amanda was expecting her first child but I know it was a blessing to us and has came with a beautiful child.
On July 22nd my sister Amanda gave birth to a handsome little boy who was supposed to be named Aiden. But due to naming issues and popularity they renamed him Cannon Jace. I love it. He is a good boy and I am so proud of Mandy. She is turning out to be a wonderful mother. I wish I could see them and god willing I will soon. So congrats to our family for a beautiful blessing.
Cannon sweetheart you are a blessing. You are beacon of light and hope in this world. You can become anything you want to be and I want you to know you have a wonderful mom who adores you and will give you all she can. You also have a wonderful grandma, grandpa and Aunt who love you alot. You even have me sweet Cannon. I may not be there physically with you but know I think of you daily. You are a blessing and I think of you as my own nephew. I love you darling and I cannot wait to watch you grow into a handsome, intelligent young man.We will make mistakes and so will you but know this....we will always love you.
Mandy you are awesome. Keep up the great work. I am very proud of you and I know you are going to be an awesome mama. You already proved a lot of people wrong. You are a woman now and a Mom. You are beginning a wonderful journey and I am proud to call you sister.

Sorry to be gone for so long
We are finally moved. I was getting very stressed in my old place. I honestly felt towards the end of our lease that I was going insane. It took my husband and his friend a total of 8 hours to unload the truck but they did it. I am very proud of them.
Our new place is wonderful. So much better then what I expected. We have a huge green lawn in front and nice mountain views from the back. The pool is heated and the kids love it. We have hard wood floors and nice neighbors. Finally I feel like I am home.
I still have a few boxes to unpack but I know I can get it done slowly. I want to make sure everything is done correctly. I will take a room by room picture once we get our bedroom set but here are a few pictures of the area to give you an idea of where we are now.

The start of a New Week
I hate Mondays but I am hoping that changes here very soon. Only 1 week and 5 days until our big move. I am very excited but also terrified at the same time. I love spending time with my kids and I cannot wait until we have the comfort to go outside our home after a certain hour. I cannot wait. Life is going to be so much better.

Saturday & Sunday
Saturday was Ro's company picnic. It was at a very nice park near Monument Colorado. I did not take pictures as I decided this year was to be a year of socializing and interacting instead of hiding behind a camera. We ate bratwurst, burgers, hot dogs and of course cake. We had our face painted and I had a bad mama body art. We played tug of war....(my team won of course and so did Ro's). Then the kids beat pinatas. We played hard and came home and took a nap.
On Sunday Ro and I went to Denver. We were helping a friend of ours look at a location for his business. We were flattered and drove around with him in his big beautiful black Tundra. We found a potential place now just to put in offers. Driving around town there brought back memories. It brought back memories of where we first met, our first place and of course our marriage. We drove past the little house we said our dos and I wanted to cry. I never imagined I would have married the wonderful man I married that day. I am so blessed for him.
We got home late. It was very eventful. A few people got pictures of us at the picnic and if I get any back I will post them at this time. I am glad we had a great weekend but I also look forward to relaxing the next one.

Just My Hubby and I
My husband and I can count on less then one hand how many times we have been out since our children were born. We have to really trust someone for our children to be left alone with them. I had been planning this night out for 2 weeks now and I am very happy that we did it.
At 12 I started getting ready for my date. The previous day I had went to the store and purchased some clothes so I could once again feel like a beautiful woman instead of just mom. I had also went to the dollar tree and bought some make-up which I had not done in over 8 years. The kids and I showered and they stood in the mirror and watched their mommies transformation.
At 3:30 Daddy came home from work. His jaw hit the ground when he saw his wife. He could not believe how much I had transformed in the last couple of hours. I had arranged through craigslist a special surprise. My husband is a huge Halo fanatic. We have Master Chief in our bedroom and almost every halo thing imaginable. I found a kid on there that was giving away a poster and a strategy guide. I was so very happy. We went and picked it up and I handed it to him. He was happy and thanked me for thinking about him.
At 5 we loaded up the car. Ro drove me over to my friends house and I dropped the kids off. I was nervous but she is a great lady who I know takes awesome care of my kids. Ro and I drove to the movie theater and I bought our tickets to see Bruno. Beforehand,we walked by an ice cream parlor. I ordered a strawberry cone with brownie infused. As I went to pay I was mortified as I lost my coordination and the ice cream fell on to the counter. The very sweet lady told me not to worry about it and made me another one. Ro told me to keep the other one and we got three.
We sat down in our seat. 10 minutes before the movie we were the only one in the theater. I felt like I was on a first date again. My hands were sweaty and I struggled for words. Then we lifted the armrest and I laid my head on his shoulder. The movie started and the theater was practically empty.
The movie ended around 730. I told my friend we would get the kids at 9 so we went to grab something to eat. We held hands and laughed at the movie and saw a big beautiful parrot on some guys shoulder. We went to our favorite taco shop and ordered. It felt very strange not having our kids around but it was still very nice.
Around 840 we went and got the kids. The kids were exhausted and had a great time. They made cookies and crafts and we had a blast. It is not often we get out anymore but when we do we make the most of it. I have realized I am very blessed to have found my life partner. Almost 11 year later and I am still madly in love. Thanks for a wonderful evening honey. you are definitely the answer to my prayers I had many years ago when I prayed for that perfect someone.

I finally did it!
After 3 years 3 months of giving birth to my beautiful son. My son who has never had his hair touched by a professional has lost his baby hair. Well not all of it but he does not look like the same child to me. I am growing to like it but I still kind of feel like kicking myself. I gave in. I cut his hair. But I know from experience it needed to be done. He was crying in the car cause the hair was blowing in his face. I love my son and he has now officially graduated from baby to big boy!

So much to look forward too
I am very happy. My grandparents called me yesterday from Ohio....after not seeing them in almost 2 years finally I am going to see them again. They are flying out here next month from August 21 though August 24. They are mostly coming to see the kids but understand I was thier first grandbaby. They spoiled me so rotten. I cannot wait for this time to come.
By then we will also be living in the new apartment. I cannot wait to have my quaint quiet neighborhood. I am just very happy in general right now.
This weekend Ro and I had a few little tiffs but we both decided not to dwell on them. We moved on and now we are more lovey then ever. I am very happy right now and really have no negativity in my life whatsoever.
Also we have a company picnic in a few weeks. Hooray! It should be a blast especially with both kids this year.
I am a new woman. A better woman. I love who I am becoming.

The end of Our Awesome Weekend
I hate Sundays sometimes. Yes they are the most relaxing days of the week but also very surreal. I realize on Sundays that on Monday it is back to reality. But we decided we were going to enjoy our Sunday to the max.
We all woke up around 9ish and decided we would go to chuck-e-cheese. I do not like the pizza very much and I made breakfast so we decided to get a coupon for 100 tokens for 10 dollars. It lasted us almost two hours and I was very excited when I hit the Jackpot on that game again for 500 tokens. I snapped a picture at 441 or somthing like that and what 500 tickets looks like.
After Chuck-e we decided to go out to eat some more food and buy groceries. Then at the end of the day we went to memorial.
The kids decided they were water babies and played in the water with the dog and I got in a little bit too. It was beautiful with the sun on the horizon and I had a good time with my little family. I love my husband and kids. I cannot wait until all of this is over and we are a family 7 days a week.

Happy Fourth Of July
Today our Major plan was to go offroading. Honestly Ro and I had no idea how to get to Gold Camp Road so we winged it. Imagine our surprise when we found out we went the wrong way. We ended up going on Lower Gold Camp Road and still found some stunning views. We also found Helen Hunt Falls and some beautiful scenery. We hope to return there soon someday.
We drove along the rocky edges of the mountain range and I feel in love with my beautiful country all over again. As we drove and chatted we explained to my daughter what the fourth was all about. The birth of our nation the United States of America.
After we got down the mountain we came home and grabbed the dogs. We ran to memorial park and walked the dogs. I was very happy when I saw paddleboats for rent. The rate was 10 for the four of us so we decided to rent a boat. What we did not factor in was the uneven weight of Roana and Lil Ro in the back. LoL We took the dogs home and we tried paddling into the middle of the lake. We got tired and frusturated and sat there watching everything around us. Then all the sudden lifeguards come running out screaming at swimmers to get inside quickly. We are halfway out from the boat dock and all the sudden it starts pouring. I start laughing and then we saw lighting. Yea it is not supposed to rain on the fourth of July. Ro got us safe back at land and we grabbed our towels and started laughing at how close we were and next time we need two boats.
At home I decided to celebrate big time. I made ribeye steaks, baked potatos, pasta salad and we picked up a cheesecake and rolls. At dusk the kids and I went and sat at the track behind the apartment and watched the fireworks. Ro talked to his family in Mexico at the time so it was just the three of us. Sitting there I smiled and realized we live in a great nation. A nation of equality where anyone can become whatever they dream. We are so blessed but that is another post for another day.

The first day off of the Month
I am falling a little behind on my blog but please understand this month is a crazy one for us. For one we are moving in 28 days. Yes you read that right due to time constraints and money issues we had to push it back. But no fear we will be ready and very happy once we finally do move.
Today was basically a grocery shop/errands day. We really do not want to move any dirty clothes or such so we decided to do laundry. I started this quest last week and I did a total of 7 loads. Today I did a total of 10 more! Yes it sucked but I did get a lot accomplished.
Tomorrow should be a blast. We will end up doing many fun things. I hope life turns out great. We shall see.
