Lil Ro has been tagged by Anelys. We have to provide seven facts about the individual child. I in return have to tag 7 fellow bloggers. I will notify you by comments also. Here are my facts about my diablito. Here we go. 1. Lil Ro is my wild child. I can turn my back for a second and he will have a chair by the counter and be hanging off the refridgerator.
2. Lil Ro has not had an official haircut since birth. I have trimmed it just a little but most of his hair is still baby hair. I think he likes it this way.
3. Lil Ro is a daredevil. He is very inquisitive and finds a way to get in mischief. He does not cry when he finds himself stuck or confused but instead tries to troubleshoot the problem
4. Lil Ro is a natural athlete. This child loves football, soccer and baseball and at the age of 2 understands how each game is different. He is going to be an all star.
5. Lil Ro loves food. He will eat anything and everything. He loves spicy, he loves sweet and he loves sour. The woman he marries will be very lucky.
6.Lil Ro has never had a professional picture. I love the way pictures look from a parents point of view and I capture his innocence much easier then anyone else.
7. Lil Ro loves food but does not know how to behave in a resturaunt. You take him outside and he plays but put him in a highchair and he melts down. He is wild.
I in turn tag the following children.
1. Cameron ( Crystal's son)
2. Mackenzie (Gina's daughter)
3. Thais (Heather's daughter)
4. Olivia (elsuenoamericano's daughter)
5. Jordan (Lisa's son)
6. Adrian (Meaghan's son)
7. Keegan (Brenda's son)

My Family is Complete
We ended up leaving on Friday at 11 and let me say thank goodness we left early. When we got in Vail it was ugly. There was hail and snow. It took us 5 hours to get from Vail to Glenwood Springs. To make matters worse our windsheild wipers stopped working and we were in white out conditions. We made it safely however to Utah. We stopped and I had a double double burger animal style with pink lemonade. Darn it I wish I could have eaten there at least one more time.
I got very lucky. I got my hotel room for 8.88 plus tax for a 3 queen size room. It was very comfortable and very interesting to share a room with the family.
We got home yesterday and the trip home was clear but I got very car sick in Utah and once again in Denver. I think it is the sharp curbs and hormones. We are adjusting well with our family complete again and tomorrow is Roana's first day back. Enjoy the pics below and I will try to saty caught up again.

Oh my sorry I have been gone
Things are hectic right now as I prepare for this trip to get my baby. I am packing as we speak and going to clean the car this afternoon. Roana to my understanding has been sick the last 2 days. I think it is a combination of heat and stress. What can a 7 year old girl stress about? Well the poor baby lost her nintendo ds and I told her I would never buy her anything again if she did not find it. My mother in law put it away thank goodness but the damage is still done. We are leaving Saturday at 1 am. We should arrive there by 12 and then we have 2 hours to waste until check in time at the hotel. We are surprising my mother in law. We got her some magnets for her friends back home but we also got her a little surprise. We got her a digital picture frame and a 1 gig sd card. I put 495 pictures on that frame and I cannot wait for her to see it. The brand is disney pix. It was 29.99 so a great bargain.
Today I also got Roanas school clothes shopping done. I love second hand stores and I went to our local one. Unfortunately Roana has to wear uniforms. I got her 2 pairs of pant and 3 skirts. Then I got her 3 polos. I spent a whopping $20.00. Then I had to get her school supplies. I got it all. That cost me another $30. So all together I spent $50.00. I cannot wait to send my baby back to school looking beautiful.
Little Rogelito is doing fantastic. He misses sis like crazy. He picks up the phone and cries "Nana? Nana?" I think he missed her more then me and Big Ro put together. He is a terror but I think it is all part of being two and testing the limits. I hope I can post before I leave but if not I will blog when I get home. So sorry for neglecting this blog. I am going crazy with planning 3 things at once.

I met Roana's Teacher today
I was so excited to go and meet Roana's teacher. I walked into that classroom and was sweating bullets. Imagine my surprise when I see a familar face. It is her reading teacher from last year. She is very sweet and the lead second grade teacher. Horray! I do have a gripe about the whole open house experience however. They have an ice cream social that is supposed to be for the whole family. I do not care if I get ice cream or not but they were saying it is for students only. I did not bring my student she is in CA. Give hers to my son. After 10 minutes of tears he finally got an ice cream. Yeah I would not care if it was just him but I saw many other siblings walking around with theirs. Oh well.
3 more days until I pick up Roana I am so excited. I need my baby home. I hope all is well.

Yep just another normal day
We just kind of relaxed here at home. Lil Ro walked around all day and called for his papi. Sorry kid but dad has to bring home the bacon. I talked to one of my best friends today and she is almost home from a trip to mexico. Thursday I am going to finish school shopping and Tomorrow I am going to meet Roana's teacher Mrs. Brown.
I had a little scare today. My mother in law called me and told me that Roana had a boo boo between her legs. My heart raced as I imagined the worse. It turns out that she has chaffed legs. Let me tell you mama bear was about to kill someone. If anyone ever touches my daughter inappropiately I will be going to jail.
On another note I have been following the story of Caylee Anthony. Her birthday has passed and there is no other information on her. My heart is breaking and I fear she is passed. I will link her story later.
So that is it. Not much new but I guess not much bad. Check ya out later.

Incredible, wish every weekend was like this
Today was a very simple day. We had breakfast burritos for breakfast that made my stomach smile and Little Ceasars pizza for dinner. We tried to go to the segunda but it was closed today and tomorrow. That is ok really dont have the money to spend right now. We took the dogs to the park and lil Ro and dad played thier hearts out in basketball. I felt sorry for the puppys sitting in the station wagon. I went and got them and walked a little down the beach on the lake. Yes we live in Colorado. Yes we have some Lake beaches.
Big Ro came over with some tennis balls and we played with the dog in the lake. Lil Ro cracked me up cause up until today he has fear the water. Today he went in and I did not stop him. I was taking pictures but he fell face first and I panicked. He is ok though. So today was lovely. It was simple but a day I will remember for a long tim. Maybe we just need to fight it out every friday. Just kidding of course.
Thanks for the great day hon. I hope our trip next week works out and soon we will have our little mom home.

Today was ok
So now that we got that big fight out of our system things have settled down a bit. Ro worked for most of the day today and I actually did not call him once at work. Today it was rainy and cold for this time of year so we went over to our favorite taco shop. OMG let me tell you there is nothing more fulfilling then Menudo with warm tortillas and ice cold coke. It melted in my mouth and warmed my heart. Next we had to come home. We watched America's Most Wanted and our recording of Dog the Bounty hunter. It was a pleasant day. I did not get a chance to take Lil Ro to the park. But we did have a good time at home. We played with the dogs, we played with cars. We just bonded. It was a good day but sorry no pics.

08-08-08
Was supposed to be a good lucky number for me but well it turned out like any day. I fought with Big Ro over something really stupid. If we are going to argue can it at least be over something worth the energy? Then I could not book my hotel at that special rate even when the screen came up. I was so disappointed. Today was not a good day but thank God for my good friend H who listened to me cry and assured me I did the right thing. I am so blessed to have friends in my life even if we are all the way across the country. Love ya girl.

A beautiful day
Today it was supposed to thunderstorm all day long. I had an evil WIC appointment so I decided to leave over an hour early. I had to drop off some final paperwork to Roana's school so she could start with no problems. Then off to the bus stop so we could go to the park across from the appointment. The park is named Memorial Park. This is one of my favorite parks in the city. It has a huge Lake and a huge playground. Until this day I always assumed the park was named because of a firefighters monument built there. Today I found more monuments and I was amazed by the beauty of them. I have lived here for almost 6 years and never saw them before. I walked around these amazing monuments for at least 10 minutes and reflected on life.
We walked around the park a little more and saw geese and ducks. I love animals and so do my kids. I loved that the geese were not angry and came over to look for food. I loved they were friendly and that lil Ro could almost touch them. But that is not what we were there for.
Next Lil Ro was getting fussy so we walked over to the playground. I prayed he would stay off the big structure but he growing too fast for his britches. He jumped out of our stroller and ran over to the two story play structure. He climbed on the rock climbing wall and scaled it easy. Then he ran down to the lower slide and slid right down. He ran over to the ropes and climbed those too. He then ran to the 3 story spiral slide and slid down. My heart stopped as he slid down and looked over the side. He did it. My baby is a lil man. He played so hard with the big kids and I tried to relax but I insist I have to be around my boy in case something happens. The hour passed way too quickly and we both were worn out.
We headed over to our WIC appointment and all is well there thank goodness. I am thinking of applying for a job over there as they are hiring for people like me. It would be a start in the career I want but I also dread leaving my Lil Man in daycare. I will try and decide if they call me back what happens.
Big Ro was having some problems at work. Those are starting to sort themselves out. Keep that in your prayers and if it is meant to be I will update. Life is going ok so far. I think tommorrow I am taking Lil Man to the park. A different one possibly. I am going to cherish this last week we have together. I am going to devote my time to him. Life is good and I am living it. I apologize for all the pictures but it seems we had a good photo day. Enjoy.
